The Kigelia fruit contains potent skin firming properties including kigelione and powerful plant sterols, for this reason, it has been used by the women of Southern Africa to firm skin and breast. More recently Kigelia fruit has been used as an active ingredient of firming and anti-aging formulations by Korean cosmetic brands and natural skincare brands. 

Kigelia Africana, also known as the ‘Sausage Tree’, because of its large, sausage shaped fruits, has also been used in helping dry, irritated and problem skin conditions. The tree is said to contain various pharmaceutically active compounds providing potent anti-oxidant, antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory activity. A significant body of scientific literature supports the validity of he validity of many of the traditional uses of Kigelia.

How to use:
Massage small amounts of Shea Terra Organics Kigelia Firming Gel onto freshly washed skin. Repeat 1-2 times daily.
